The Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey is proud to support students who are interested in dance and the arts. We currently offer three different types of scholarships:
Our Senior Dance Scholarship, honoring past ADT-NJ Member Frances L. Chalif and her brother, Amos Chalif, is awarded annually to three high school students based upon audition.
Our Junior/Tween Scholarship is awarded annually to ten students aged 7 through 8th grade based upon a written essay.
Our Workshop Scholarships are awarded to students based upon dress code, positive attitude, active participation in the class, dance etiquette, enthusiasm for the work being presented, and effort expended during the classes.
Our ADT-NJ Member Scholarships, honoring past ADT-NJ Member Roseanna E. Smith, are awarded yearly to members in good standing at our winter workshop based upon participation in our annual events.
